One. The characteristics
Fastness
It can quickly cut off within 1~2ms after the occurrence of short-circuit fault, and remove the fault within 2~4ms. The duration of three-phase current does not exceed 6~7ms.
Reliability
The fuse of the high-voltage current-limiting fuse is determined by its own physical characteristics, and there is no problem of refusal and misoperation.
Limited current
Since the short-circuit current is forcibly intercepted at the initial stage of the rise, the cut-off value is only 15-30% of the maximum short-circuit surge current, which greatly improves the dynamic stability margin of the system and equipment. At the same time, as the I2t is greatly reduced, the thermal stability margin is increased by at least 200 times.
Strong ability to break
Since the arc voltage generated when the high-voltage current limiting fuse is blown can be absorbed by the high-energy zinc oxide varistor, the breaking capacity of the entire device can be reached.

Two.  Application
1, for the factory transformer branch When a short circuit occurs near the high-voltage bushing of the factory transformer, the short-circuit current can be as high as several hundred kiloamperes, and it is impossible to select a suitable circuit breaker. For hydropower plants, the plant's power consumption rate is less than 1%. The short-circuit current is up to thousands of times the rated current of the plant transformer, which will cause serious damage or even explosion of the plant transformer.
After adding KM-CS to the high-voltage side of the factory transformer, the following benefits can be brought:
The factory transformer is effectively protected from explosion accidents due to internal faults;
The  branch short circuit, which is a through fault for the main transformer. The rapid action of KM-CS reduces the maximum short-circuit inrush current by 3~6 times, which can prevent the main transformer from being damaged due to coil deformation;
KM-CS quickly cuts off branch faults in the factory to avoid the impact of strong short-circuit current

2, for the excitation transformer branchWhen the internal transformer of the excitation transformer is faulty, the short-circuit current will reach more than one thousand times of the rated current. It is necessary to rely on the generator to eliminate the fault. The short-circuit current lasts for a long time, which will inevitably cause serious damage or even explosion of the excitation transformer. Moreover, when the low-voltage side rectifier bridge of the excitation transformer is faulty, the damage time of the equipment will be enlarged due to the long removal time, and the unit repair time will be greatly extended.
Adding KM-CS to the high voltage side of the excitation transformer brings the following benefits:
Protect the excitation transformer effectively from accidents caused by internal faults;
When the excitation transformer branch is short-circuited, KM-CS can quickly cut off the fault, reducing the maximum short-circuit inrush current by 3~6 times, which can prevent the main transformer from being damaged due to coil deformation;
Rectifier bridge fault, can quickly remove faults in 20~40ms, reduce accident losses and shorten accident downtime;
It can avoid the impact of strong short-circuit current caused by the generator transformer failure for a long time;

Four. Packaging, transportation and storage
Packing: Generally, it is packed in wooden cases, and the base of the cabinet is fixed on the bottom plate of the packing box.
Transportation: It should not be transported over long distances on highways below Grade III. If necessary, the packaging can be dismantled. Important parts should be transported by road after treatment.
Storage: Store in a dry, ventilated warehouse when not in use for long periods of time.

Five.  Installation, commissioning and maintenance
The company is responsible for the design of the drawings and the selection of parameters according to the requirements of the users. At the same time, it is also possible to send engineering and technical personnel to conduct on-site surveys according to user requirements. After the equipment is assembled and commissioned, the professional testing personnel will carry out the second simulation experiment and the 1:1 high-voltage simulation experiment. If the user needs, the company can be responsible for on-site installation guidance and commissioning services, and the user provides necessary cooperation and assistance.
The equipment does not need to be maintained and repaired during normal operation, but should be inspected after being hit by a large fault current: check the fuse for damage, check the contacts for goodness, and remove dust and metal particles inside the equipment.
If the user complies with the storage and use requirements, the product damaged or not working properly due to quality reasons, 12 months from the date of installation or use, or 18 months from the date of shipment,we will repair or replace for the customer.

Six. Ordering instructions

The user should provide the electrical main wiring diagram of the system, the short-circuit resistance (or short-circuit capacity) of the access system, and the operating mode of the system,which as the design basis of the device.
The user should provide the technical parameters of the generator parameters (P, COSф, Xd), the main transformer parameters (S, Ud%), the factory transformer (S, Ud%) or the excitation transformer (S, Ud%).
The user should provide the installation position of the cabinet of the device (either separately or in parallel with other cabinets or parts) and the way of access.
The delivery period is generally 30 days after the user confirms the design of the company. If there are special requirements, it can be negotiated separately.
